The Deaconess Ministry assist the Pastor and Diaconate Ministry of the Bethany Baptist Church in maintaining a strong Christian character and to always be ready and willing to assist the members of the church. The Deaconesses along with the Deacons of the Church visit the sick and shut in, support the children and youth of the church. 

As we receive new members into the church, the Deaconess are just one team of members that will reach out and maintain a relationship with the new members of the church.  Baptism is the held 4th Sunday of each month and the Deaconesses assist the female candidates for Baptism.  

Holy Communion is given on the 1st Sunday on the month. Deacons and the Deaconess participate in this service.

The Deaconess Ministry meets on the second Sunday of each month.
