The Diaconate Ministry works closely with the Senior Pastor of the Bethany Baptist Chrurch. The Deacons and the Pastor work together for the spiritual development of the church as well as the community.  Deacons share a close relationship with the church family. 

Deacons serve as Spiritual Advisors to the Ministries and groups within the Church.  Some Deacons are teacher of Sunday School and Friday Night Bible Study.  Deacons also adminster the Holy Communion Service to sick and shut-in Members.

The Diaconate Ministry meets with the Pastor the Saturday before the 1st Sunday of every month in the Henry Brooks Senior Housing - Arts and Craft Room.
